Spring Sale Guidelines

KIDS SALE GUIDELINES

Items Accepted

-Quality Spring/Summer children’s clothing in excellent condition free of stains, smells, pet hair, tears, loose hems, missing or broken buttons. Sizes 0-16. No Fall/Winter items, please! No adult sized t-shirts – only youth sizes!

-Shoes in like new condition. Placed in Gallon size Ziploc is recommended.

-Toys in excellent working condition.  MUST have all pieces secured and working batteries.

-Kid/Nursery furniture.  All items MUST be assembled by the consignor.

-Outdoor play equipment.  MUST BE CLEAN and in good condition.

-Parenting/Children’s book, kids DVDs

-Carseats must meet the following criteria: You must know the history of the car seat and it must NOT have been involved in an automobile accident (even if the child was NOT in the seat at the time of the accident).  The car seat is four years old or less.  The seat has all its parts.  The straps are not worn or frayed.  There are no cracks, bends or breaks in the plastic shell.  The car seat must never have been broken or repaired unless for retrofit safety recalls.  You need to include the instruction manual (these can usually be easily printed from the manufacturer website)

– Maternity Clothes

– Potty Seats of any kind

– Bathtubs

– Baby Blankets, towels, washcloths (Swaddles are accepted if on a hanger)

-Recalled items

-Items with stains, broken zippers, broken snaps, missing parts, etc.

-Undergarments

-Stuffed animals of any kind


Preparing Your Items

– There is a minimum of 50 tagged items required and a maximum of 600 tagged items.

-Tags must be attached directly to the garment, not to the hanger! Please use card stock to print your tags.

-Thoroughly clean baby equipment, including washing fabric covers to car seats and strollers.

-When hanging clothing, MAKE SURE THAT AS YOU FACE THE ITEM, THE HANGER WILL LOOK LIKE A QUESTION MARK. Tags should be attached to the upper right corner of the item.

-When hanging pants, be sure to pin the pants to the top of the hanger (unless you are using pants hangers)…this will keep them from sliding around and from falling off.

-All items should be priced at $2.00 or above in whole dollar increments.  If you have items that are valued less than the $2 minimum price, then GROUP like items together so they can be priced at a $2 minimum.

-Hang all carriers, slings and head supports on hangers and safety pin to the hanger so they cannot fall off.

-If toys have multiple parts, be sure to secure them together.  We cannot be responsible if toy parts get separated during the sale.

– When dropping off, please keep all sizes together going from smallest to largest size. This helps us process and sort your items quickly.

Renewed Threads reserves the right to remove ANY item that does not meet these standards.  If your item is removed then you will receive it back at time of pick up.

FORMAL WEAR GUIDELINES

Excellent condition Prom Dresses.  No tears, pulls, missing buttons, broken zippers, stains or missing sequins. 

Jewelry/ accessories may be included with the dress (one price for all of it) We will not accept separate jewelry pieces, accessories or shoes.

Use a strong hanger and make sure the dress is secure. 

If jewelry is included in dress price make sure to attach it to the hanger in a Ziploc bag and print an extra tag to go in the Ziploc.  This will help us to avoid getting pieces separated. 

Tags should be printed on card stock and attached to the dress.  MAKE SURE THAT AS YOU FACE THE ITEM, THE HANGER WILL LOOK LIKE A QUESTION MARK with the tag on the upper right corner of the dress.  Tags cannot be attached to the hanger.

When entering the tag for your dress use the Formal dress category.

Consignor must know a complete history of the dress.  We will have a questionnaire to fill out at drop off (has the dress been altered, how many times worn etc)

Renewed Threads will do our absolute best to take excellent care of your formal wear during the sale and get them sold; however, we are not responsible for any mishaps or damage incurred during drop off, pick up or during the sale.

Fall 2020 Consignor Registration

Our upcoming Fall sale will be held Thursday, September 17 – Saturday, September 19, 2020. Consignor registration is now open.

Visit Returning Consignor Registration or New Consignor Registration to register.

There is a $5.00 fee to consign that is due at time of registration. All consignors receive 70% of the final sales price of your items. Consignor drop off will be held September 13 and 14 by appointment only. All consignors will receive a check in the mail two weeks after the sale ends.
